How It Works: Your Custom Caravan Journey

Start with Your Vision

Think about how you’ll travel: Do you need bunks for the kids? An off-grid power setup? More storage? A slide-out lounge? We begin by understanding how you live and travel, so your van becomes a home on wheels.

Choose the Right Size and Layout

We’ll help you select the base model that suits your needs—from compact couples vans to large family layouts. Then we’ll tailor the internal layout to match your style, comfort, and functionality preferences.

Pick Your Features and Inclusions

You’ll have the opportunity to customise everything, including: Kitchen layout & appliances Ensuite configuration Upholstery & cabinetry finishes Electrical system (solar, lithium, inverters, etc.) Suspension and chassis upgrades Air con, heating, water tanks & more

Design Review & Final Specs

We’ll walk you through a detailed spec sheet and design preview, so you know exactly what you’re getting. Every detail is discussed and confirmed before we proceed to production.

Build Begins

Once everything’s locked in, we hand over to the expert team at Lake Star Caravans to begin crafting your dream van. Build timelines typically range from 12–20 weeks, depending on the complexity and customisation.

Handover Day – Adventure Ready!

When your van is complete, we’ll walk you through every feature so you're confident and road-ready. Then it’s all yours—let the adventure begin!

Weight & Measurement

All weights provided are approximate and may vary between individual caravans due to manufacturing processes and material variations.
Listed lengths and weights are based on standard configurations. Adding optional features or custom modifications will impact the total weight of the caravan.
Floor length refers to the external total length of the caravan’s floor.
Total length is measured from the front coupling to the rear of the spare wheel.
Overall width is measured externally and includes any protruding fixtures.
Each caravan’s accurate weight specifications can be found on its Compliance Plate.
Alterations to the designated Aggregate Trailer Mass (ATM) may be requested at the time of order, provided the legal maximum is not
